The online application process has started for the recruitment of bumper posts of Office Attendant / Parichari (Special) by Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC). This is a golden opportunity for all the candidates who have passed class 10th and are dreaming of getting a government job. Candidates can fill the application form to join the recruitment by visiting the official website of BSSC bssc.bihar.gov.in. The application process will continue till the last date, 24 September 2025.

Educational Qualification and Age

To apply for Bihar Office Attendant posts, candidates must have passed 10th / Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board/institute. Along with this, the minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years. The maximum age is 37 years for unreserved (male), 40 years for backward class and extremely backward class (male and female), 40 years for unreserved female candidates, 42 years for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe category, and an additional 10 years for disabled candidates of all categories according to the category.

Method of application

To fill out the application form, the candidates have to first go to onlinebssc.com.

After this, the candidates can register by clicking on registration and entering the required details.

After registration, the candidates can upload other details, their signature, and a photograph by clicking on login.

After this, deposit the prescribed fee, submit the form, take a printout of it, and keep it safe.

How much will the fee be

To participate in this recruitment, unreserved OBC candidates from outside Bihar state will have to deposit a fee of Rs 540 along with the application. The fee for SC, ST, disabled, and female candidates of all categories has been fixed at Rs 135.

How will the selection be done?

A written test will be conducted for selection in this recruitment. Objective-type questions will be asked in the written examination. The number of questions will be 100. 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The questions in the question paper will be asked from General Mathematics, General Knowledge and General Hindi subjects. A total of 3727 posts will be filled through this recruitment.
