This recruitment has been issued under advertisement number RRC/WR/04/2025, and the application process will be entirely online.
What are the required application dates?
Applications for apprentice positions will begin tomorrow, February 21st, at 11:00 am. The last date for applications is March 23rd, until 5:00 pm. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website www.rrc-wr.com. It should be noted that a total of 5,349 apprentice positions will be filled through this recruitment process. These positions primarily include fitter, electrician, welder, computer operator and programming assistant, electronic mechanic, diesel mechanic, painter, carpenter, refrigeration and AC mechanic, and several other trades. The highest number of positions are in the fitter and electrician trades.
Eligibility and Age Limit for Recruitment
To apply for this recruitment, candidates must have passed the 10th grade with at least 50% marks from a recognized board. They must also possess an ITI certificate from an NCVT-approved institution in the relevant trade. Furthermore, candidates awaiting their 10th or ITI results will not be eligible. Those with an engineering degree or diploma are also not eligible for this recruitment. Candidates must be at least 15 years old and a maximum of 24 years old to be eligible for recruitment. Age relaxation will be granted for reserved categories as per rules. SC, ST, OBC, and PWD candidates will receive a 5-year relaxation, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PWD candidates.
What will be the selection process?
The most significant feature of this recruitment is that there will be no written examination. Selection will be based on a merit list prepared based on 10th and ITI marks. This will be followed by a document verification process. If two candidates have the same marks, the older candidate will be given preference. The application fee for this recruitment is ₹100 for General and OBC category candidates. SC, ST, PWD, and female candidates will not have to pay any fees.
