This is great news for young people seeking government jobs. Banaras Hindu University (BHU), one of the country's prestigious educational institutions, has announced new recruitment for the year 2025.

Under this recruitment, appointments will be made for positions such as Program Assistant, Ward Assistant, and Sanitation Worker. Importantly, candidates from 8th pass to graduates can apply for this recruitment. The application process is entirely offline, and the last date for application is December 30, 2025.

This BHU recruitment is being conducted under the Government of India's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare's scheme, "National Programme for Health Care of the Elderly" (NPHCE). All positions will be filled at the Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), BHU. This recruitment is considered a good opportunity for candidates who dream of working in a government institution on a permanent or contractual basis.

Different qualifications have been set for different positions under this recruitment. For the Program Assistant position, the candidate must be a second-class graduate from a recognized university. They should also have six months of computer training. If a candidate has a diploma in computers, at least one year of work experience will also be considered.

To apply for the Ward Assistant or Hospital Attendant position, the candidate must have passed the 10th grade. In addition, at least one year of experience in a hospital or related field is required. For the Sanitation Worker or Sanitary Attendant position, 8th pass candidates can apply, but they must also have one year of work experience.

Candidates will have to fill out and submit the application form offline. First, they need to download the application form format from the official BHU website. After that, the form must be filled out by hand in clear and legible handwriting.

Candidates must fill in all their information correctly in the application form. A passport-size photograph must be affixed to the designated space, and the application form must be signed. Self-attested copies of educational certificates, experience certificates, and other necessary documents must be attached. After completing all the documents, the application form must be sent to the specified address.

The complete application form should be sent to Professor Anoop Singh, Nodal Officer, NPHCE, Department of Geriatric Medicine, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi – 221005 (Uttar Pradesh). Candidates should ensure that the application reaches the address before the last date, December 30, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
