Qualifications for BEL Constable, Driver
Havildar: Must have passed high school (10th) from a recognized board. Along with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the Armed Forces.
Driver: After passing the SSLC (10th standard), candidates must have gained 15 years of driving experience in the Armed Forces.
In addition to the educational qualifications, unreserved candidates must be 43 years of age, OBC (non-creamy layer) 46 years, and SC 48 years of age. The maximum age limit will be calculated as of March 1, 2026.
Candidates must be registered with the District Sainik Welfare Board and know the local language.
The ability to speak and write Hindi and English, and have computer knowledge, are desirable qualifications.
