**Eligibility for Hindi Translator Posts**
To participate in this recruitment, candidates must possess one of the following qualifications: an MA in English with Honours in Hindi; an MA in Hindi with Honours in English; a Law Graduate degree with Honours in Hindi; an MA in Hindi with Honours; an MA in any subject along with an MA in Hindi; or a BA/BSc degree with Honours in Hindi.
Additionally, candidates must have at least 3 years of work experience as a translator in a government or semi-government organization or a reputed daily newspaper. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of proofreading and an inclination towards literary work.
**Age Limit**
As of July 1, 2026, the candidate's age must be at least 18 years and not more than 37 years. Age relaxation will be granted to reserved category candidates and departmental employees as per the rules.
**Application Process and Fee**
Applications for this recruitment can only be submitted online via the official website; applications submitted through any other mode will not be accepted. Along with the application, candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay a fee of ₹1,000, while SC/ST candidates must pay ₹500. The fee can be paid online.
Selection Process and Salary
Selection for this recruitment will be based on a written examination. The written test will carry 100 marks, and candidates will be allowed 90 minutes to complete the paper. A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written examination. Candidates selected for this recruitment will be provided a salary in the range of ₹35,400–₹1,12,400 (Level-6, as per the 7th CPC).
