BARC JRF Recruitment 2026: The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has invited applications for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2026. Eligibility Required for Application
Candidates applying for the BARC JRF 2026 must possess an M.Sc., Integrated M.Sc., B.S.-M.S. (Dual Degree), or B.S. degree. This qualification should be in a relevant discipline such as science, engineering, or life sciences, to provide the basic knowledge required for research.
National Level Eligibility
In addition, candidates must have a valid score from a recognized national-level examination or fellowship. These include: UGC-CSIR NET Fellowship, JEST score, ICMR-JRF Test, ICAR-JRF Test, DBT-JRF (Biotechnology) Eligibility Test, GATE score (Physics/Chemistry/Life Sciences/Biotechnology), or a valid JGEBILS scorecard. Only candidates meeting these criteria will be shortlisted for an interview.
How much is the application fee?
To apply for the program, candidates must pay an application fee of ₹500. Payment can be made through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI, making the process completely secure and easy.
Fee exemptions will be provided to SC/ST, PwBD, and female candidates as per the rules. Please note that if a candidate has completed the form and generated an application number but has not paid the fee, their application will not be accepted and will not be considered for the selection process.
