Bank of Baroda Recruitment for 2,482 Posts; Graduates Eligible to Apply
Bank of Baroda initiated the recruitment process for 2,482 Local Bank Officer (LBO) posts, with the application deadline set for September 17, 2026. The bank had extended the application deadline via an addendum issued on September 7.
Candidates who have not yet applied can do so online until September 17, 2026. Payment of the prescribed application fee is mandatory. Graduation and Banking Experience Required
Candidates applying for the LBO post must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution. Additionally, candidates are required to have at least one year of experience working at an officer level in a scheduled commercial bank. Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years of age. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with government regulations.
What is the Application Fee?
Candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹850. Meanwhile, the application fee for SC, ST, PwD, ESM, and female candidates has been set at ₹150–₹175.
How will the selection take place?
Candidates will be selected through a multi-stage process. This may include an online written examination followed by a local language proficiency test, a psychometric assessment, and a group discussion or personal interview. Subsequently, the processes of document verification and a medical examination must be completed.
Basic salary to start at ₹48,480
Selected candidates will be appointed under the JMG-Scale 1 grade. The initial basic pay for this position is ₹48,480, with a maximum of ₹85,920. Additionally, other allowances and benefits will be provided in accordance with bank regulations. Candidates will also be required to execute a service bond committing to three years of active service. Leaving the bank before the stipulated period will attract a penalty equivalent to three months' gross salary, subject to a maximum limit of ₹2 lakh.
