Bank of Baroda has issued a notification for a massive recruitment drive for the post of Local Bank Officer (LBO). Through this recruitment, a total of 2,482 vacancies in the Junior Management Grade Scale-1 will be filled. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online starting August 18, 2026. Eligibility and Age Limit

Candidates applying must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of August 1, 2026. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules. Regarding educational qualifications, candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Additionally, a minimum of one year of experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank (listed by the RBI) is mandatory. Please note that experience gained in a clerical role will not be considered valid for this recruitment. Since this is a Local Bank Officer post, candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the local language of the state for which they are applying.

Application Deadline and Fee

The online application process for the Bank of Baroda LBO recruitment began on August 18, 2026. Interested candidates can fill out the application form and submit the fee until September 7, 2026. Additionally, candidates belonging to the General, EWS, and OBC categories are required to pay a fee of ₹850, whereas the fee for SC, ST, PwD, and female candidates is ₹175.
