Indian Bank Apprentice: Indian Bank has issued a notification for the recruitment of 1,500 apprentice posts for the financial year 2025–26 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This apprenticeship program will be of 12 months duration. The application process is starting today i.e., 18th July. Candidates can apply till 7th August. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of Indian Bank www.indianbank.in.

Selected candidates will be provided a monthly stipend as per the posting location. A total of 1500 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive.

Educational Qualification and Degree Deadline

Candidates applying for the Indian Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2025 should have a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized university. Apart from this, if a candidate has an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government, then he will also be considered eligible. This educational qualification can be in any subject, that is, there is no compulsion of a particular subject.

An important condition is that the candidate has completed their graduation degree on or after April 1, 2021, and it is mandatory to have a passing certificate. If a candidate has graduated before that, he will not be considered eligible for this recruitment.

Exam Pattern: How many questions and how many marks?
The online exam for Indian Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2025 will have a total of 100 questions, for which a maximum of 100 marks is prescribed. The exam will have 15 questions (15 marks) from Reasoning Ability, 10 questions (10 marks) from Computer Knowledge, 25 questions (25 marks) from English Language, 25 questions (25 marks) from Quantitative Aptitude, and 25 questions (25 marks) from General Awareness (especially related to the banking industry).

Will there be negative marking?
The exam also has a negative marking system, under which 1/4 of the marks allotted for that question will be deducted for every wrong answer. The language of the exam will be available in major regional languages, except for the English language section.

How many months of training and how much stipend will be given?

The candidates selected in the Indian Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2025 will be given 12 months of training. During training, a stipend will be given according to the location of the bank branch. Candidates appointed in urban and metropolitan areas will be given a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000, while candidates posted in rural and semi-urban areas will be given a monthly stipend of Rs 12,000.

This much will be the application fee.

To apply for this recruitment, candidates have to deposit the application fee online. Candidates of the General, OBC, and EWS category will have to pay a fee of Rs 800, while for SC, ST, and PwBD (Divyang) category, the fee has been kept at only Rs 175. Candidates are advised to complete the application before the last date and do not make any mistake in the payment.
