Eligibility and Salary

Drivers will be recruited through an examination, which the examination will be held in the Home Depot in the first phase. After that, after the second examination in Kanpur, the candidates will be recruited as contract driver roadways personnel. To become a driver in the Transport Department, the candidate should have at least an 8th pass. It is mandatory to be 23 years 6 months or more in age with 5.3 feet height. Applicants recruited as drivers are paid at the rate of Rs 2.6 paise per kilometer. Apart from this, after completing 5000 kilometers, the driver will also be given an additional incentive amount of Rs 3000. Apart from this, arrangements will also be made to travel free through roadways buses.
