A total of 1,213 positions across executive and non-executive categories will be filled through this recruitment process. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to work at AVNL units located in various states across the country, where armored vehicles and battle tanks for the Army are manufactured. In this recruitment drive, AVNL has announced the highest number of vacancies—1,005—for the post of Junior Technician. Additionally, 208 vacancies have been designated for executive roles, including Manager, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, Senior Manager, Junior Manager, and Consultant. Appointments will be made on a fixed-term employment basis at various AVNL factories located in Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Maharashtra.
What are the qualification requirements?
For the Junior Technician post, candidates must have passed the 10th standard and possess an NCVT-recognized ITI (NTC/NAC) certificate in the relevant trade. The maximum age limit for this post is set at 30 years. For managerial positions, qualifications such as B.E./B.Tech, an engineering diploma, or degrees like MBA, MCA, and CA in relevant fields are required. Depending on the specific post, the maximum age limit ranges from 30 to 35 years, while for certain special posts, it is set at 65 years.
What is the salary?
Selected Junior Technicians will receive a monthly salary of ₹25,050 plus Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA). Meanwhile, the salary for executive positions will range from ₹34,500 to ₹1,29,000 per month. Candidates will be selected based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT), a trade or skill test, and an interview for the respective posts.
Application Fee
The online application process commenced on July 11, 2026, and candidates can apply until 11:55 PM on July 25, 2026. The application fee is ₹300 for male candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories. However, SC, ST, PwD (Persons with Disabilities), and Ex-servicemen candidates, as well as all female candidates, are completely exempted from the application fee.
