Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has decided to resume the application process for recruitment to 2424 vacant posts of Assistant Professor. This recruitment was also taken out earlier, but some candidates could not apply due to some reason. Now this is a golden opportunity for those candidates, as they will be able to apply from 1 March 2025. The last date of application has been fixed till 15 March 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for Assistant Professor posts, the candidate must have passed post graduation (MA/MSc etc.) with at least 55 percent marks from a recognized university or institute. Along with this, the candidate must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit subject at the matriculation level. In addition, the candidate must have passed one of the UGC NET, SLET or SET exams.

Age Limit

To apply, the minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years and maximum age 42 years. However, reserved category candidates will get relaxation in age limit as per government rules.

This application fee will have to be paid

Candidates applying for recruitment will have to pay the application fee. The application fee for general category and male candidates from outside Haryana state has been kept at Rs 1000. At the same time, the application fee for reserved category candidates of Haryana state and all female candidates has been fixed at Rs 250. In particular, PH (Divyang) candidates are exempted from application fee.
