Assam SLPRB Vacancy 2026: The Assam State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) has released a notification for recruitment to various posts in the Forest Department, Assam Police, and Fire and Emergency Services. Educational Qualification
The educational qualifications for various posts in the Assam Police and Forest Department recruitment are as follows: For the Forester (Grade-I) post, the candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in any subject. For Sub-Officer and Constable (WO/WT) posts, a High School (Science) qualification with PCM is required. For Forest Guard, Wildlife Watcher, and Constable (UB) posts, a High School (10+2) or equivalent degree is valid.
For AFPF Constable, Constable (Grade-III), Bandsman, and Bugler posts, the candidate must have HSLC or equivalent education. Additionally, for the Boatman post, the candidate should have a high school level education and proficiency in swimming.
Salary Details? The salary scale for various posts under Assam SLPRB has been fixed according to Pay Band No. 2 (₹14,000-70,000) and Pay Band No. 1 (₹12,000-52,000). In addition, the grade pay for the respective post will also be applicable. Candidates will also be provided with HRA, DA, and other allowances as per the rules. Thus, the selected candidates will receive their total package according to government rules.
