Army Agniveer Bharti 2025: The application process for Agniveer recruitment in the Indian Army was to start today i.e. 08 March 2025. But now it has been postponed. A new registration date has also been released for Agniveer recruitment in the Indian Army. Online application for Agniveer recruitment in the Indian Army will now be possible from 11 March 2025 instead of 8 March 2025 (Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2025 Registration date). According to Colonel Shailesh Kumar, Director, Army Recruitment Office, Varanasi, this time the application process has been started for 2-2 posts simultaneously. Applications have been sought for the posts of General Duty, Technician, 2 categories of trade, and Office Assistant or Store Keeper Technical.

Indian Army Recruitment: There will be a separate exam for each post
The youth who will apply for two different posts will also have to take separate written exams for both posts. However, the physical efficiency test i.e. the rally will be included only once. With this, the applicants are being given two opportunities to get a job in the army simultaneously. If he fails in the written exam of one category but succeeds in the other, then he will be able to join the rally. This decision will give a lot of relief to the applicants.

Agniveer Bharti: How to apply for Agniveer recruitment?

Agniveer recruitment in the army will have to be applied in online mode. For this, you can apply by visiting the official website of Join Indian Army www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Keep your email ID and mobile number active. For application, scan your Aadhaar card, 10th certificate, scanned copy of the signature, soft copy of the latest photo, 10th, 12th, and other educational certificates, mark sheet, and caste certificate in advance. This will not waste time at the last moment.

Agniveer Jobs: On which posts will recruitment be done?
Candidates interested in army jobs should have complete information about the recruitment process. This will prevent any problems while applying.

1- Agniveer General Duty (GD)

Must have passed 10th with 45% marks. It is necessary to have at least 33% marks in each subject.
Candidates who have light motor vehicle driving licenses will also be given preference in driver recruitment.

2- Agniveer Technical

It is necessary to have passed 12th with 50% marks (aggregate) in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English subjects. It is mandatory to have at least 40% marks in each subject.

3- Agniveer Clerk / Storekeeper Technical

It is necessary to have passed 12th with at least 60% marks in any stream. There should be 50% marks in each subject. At least 50% marks are required in English and Mathematics / Accounts / Bookkeeping.
For the posts of Agniveer Clerk and Storekeeper category, the typing test has been made compulsory.

4- Agniveer Tradesman

At least 10th pass. The applicant should have 33% marks in all subjects.

Agniveer Tradesman 8th pass - At least 8th pass. The applicant should have 33% marks in all subjects.

5- Women Military Police Qualification

10th pass with 45% marks. 33% marks in each subject is a must.

Indian Army Jobs: Physical Efficiency

For Agniveer GD, Agniveer Technical, and Agniveer Tradesman 8th and 10th pass - Height should be at least 169 cm and chest 77 cm. With a 5 cm expansion, it should be 82 cm. In some states, the height has been sought to be 170, in some 165 and some 163.

Agniveer Clerk, Store Keeper Technical – Height should be 162 cm. The chest should be 77 cm, with 5 cm expansion it should be 82 cm.

Physical Test

In the physical test for the recruitment of Agniveers, under Group-1, one will have to run 1.6 km in 5 and a half minutes. 60 marks will be given for this. 10 pull-ups of 40 marks will also have to be done.
Under Group 2, one will have to run 1.6 km in 5 minutes 45 seconds. 9 pull-ups will have to be done. 33 marks have been fixed for this.

9 feet long jump will have to be done. This is only for qualifying.
The Zig Zag Balance Test has to be just passed.
