APPSC: Applications are being invited for 691 posts, candidates should fill the form by this date..

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Forest Beat Officer (FBO) and Assistant Beat Officer (ABO). The application process has started today (Wednesday, July 16). The last date to apply is August 5. Interested candidates having the required qualification can apply by visiting psc.ap.gov.in.

A total of 691 posts will be recruited under this recruitment campaign. Out of these, 256 posts are for Forest Beat Officer, while 435 posts have been earmarked for Assistant Beat Officer. This recruitment is being done under the Forest Department of the state, in which the selected candidates will be entrusted with responsibilities related to environmental protection and forest protection.

This is the educational qualification and age limit.

Candidates should have passed Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent from a recognized board or institute. The minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years, and the maximum age should be 30 years. Age will be calculated on the basis of 1 July 2025. SC, ST, OBC, and other categories will get relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules.

Candidates will have to pay Rs 250 as application fee and Rs 80 as examination fee, i.e., a total of Rs 330. SC, ST, BC, and ex-servicemen category candidates are exempted from the examination fee. These candidates can fill out the form by paying Rs 250 as an application fee.

Selection for recruitment to these posts will be done on the basis of the Screening Test, Mains Exam, Physical Measurement Test, Physical Standard Test, and Document Verification. Candidates selected for Forest Beat Officer posts will be given a salary of Rs 25200 to Rs 80910 per month. At the same time, the salary of an Assistant Beat Officer will be Rs 23120 to Rs 74770 per month.
