**Eligibility Criteria**

For the Administrative unit, a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute is required.
For the Technical unit, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology is required.
Candidates must have completed their qualification by 30 October 2026. Only candidates who have completed their respective undergraduate degrees in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible to apply.
Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training elsewhere or are currently undergoing such training are not eligible for this recruitment.

If marks are awarded in CGPA or OGPA format, they must be converted into a percentage using the formula prescribed by the respective university or institute. Proof of this conversion must be provided at the time of document verification.

Rules regarding category certificates:
Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Class (OBC) certificates must be valid for the financial year 2026-27.
These certificates must have been issued on or after April 1, 2026.
The OBC Non-Creamy Layer certificate must be valid as of the application deadline.

How will the selection take place?
Initial shortlisting of candidates will be based on the percentage secured in their undergraduate degree. If the volume of applications is high, the institute may conduct a written screening test at its discretion. Final selection will be based entirely on performance in the interview.

What is the monthly stipend?
Graduate trainees in both Administration and Technical categories will receive a consolidated stipend of ₹20,000 per month. The training duration will be one year. This is a practical training program for apprentices, not a regular job.

Upon completion of the training, the trainee will have no right or claim to a regular job at IIT Jodhpur. The apprenticeship will automatically terminate upon completion of the training. Additionally, no accommodation, travel allowance, or other monetary benefits will be provided for the examination, interview, document verification, or joining process.
