Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has invited applications for apprentice posts. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of IOB iob.in. The last date to apply for this is 20 August 2025; interested candidates should apply on or before this date. The online exam will be conducted on August 24, 2025.

Under this recruitment process, 750 posts will be recruited in the institute.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to apply for this recruitment can understand the eligibility through the points given below.

Candidates willing to apply online should possess a degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

Candidates should be between 20 years and 28 years of age as on the cut-off date i.e. 01.08.2025 for General Category and Economically Weaker Section candidates. Date of birth should be between 01.08.1997 and 01.08.2005, both dates inclusive.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of an online examination and local language test, wherever applicable, and personal interaction as decided by the Bank.

The online written test will consist of 100 questions carrying 100 marks. The duration of the test is 90 minutes. All applicants are required to take the online test using their own desktop/laptop, tablet or smartphone with camera on the scheduled date and time.

Candidates applying for training seats of a particular State should have proficiency (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any one of the local languages (to be specified while inviting applications) of that State.

Application Fee

The application fee for PwBD is ₹472. Whereas, for Female/SC/ST category candidates it is ₹708/- and for General/OBC/EWS category candidates it is ₹944/-. Application once made is non-refundable, and fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances, nor can it be adjusted in any other recruitment process.
