Apprenticeship: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has announced the HAL Apprentice Recruitment 2026, under which a total of 62 apprentice positions will be filled. This recruitment is for candidates who have completed their studies in Engineering, Diploma, and General streams. Importantly, there will be no written examination or interview. Selection will be based entirely on merit. Interested and eligible candidates must participate in the walk-in process between January 28 and 30, 2026. Under this recruitment drive issued by HAL, a total of 62 apprentice positions are available. These include Engineering Graduate Apprentices, Technician (Diploma) Apprentices, and General Stream Graduate Apprentices. Age Limit
Regarding the age limit, candidates from the General and EWS categories must be between 18 and 26 years of age as of December 31, 2025.  SC, ST, OBC (NCL), and PwD candidates will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per government rules.

Eligibility Criteria
The educational qualifications are determined according to the position. For Diploma Apprentices, a diploma in the relevant engineering branch is required. For General Stream Graduates, a B.Com, B.Sc., or BCA degree is necessary, while for Engineering Graduates, a BE or B.A tech degree is mandatory. Candidates must have completed these qualifications between 2021 and 2025.

Application Process
The application process for HAL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 is entirely walk-in-based. Candidates are required to register on the NATS 2.0 portal beforehand. Applications will not be accepted without NATS registration.

After registration, candidates must report to the training auditorium at HAL Barrackpore at 9 AM on the specified date. Document verification will be conducted there. Candidates must bring their Aadhaar card, 10th-grade certificate, degree or diploma certificate, mark sheets for all semesters, passport-size photograph, and caste certificate (if applicable).

Selection Process
The selection process will be entirely merit-based. There will be no written examination or interview. The merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of academic marks. The list of selected candidates will be published on the official HAL website.
