Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), a leading Maharatna company in the country, has issued a notification for the recruitment of 608 Graduate Apprentice Trainee positions. This opportunity is specifically for freshers who wish to begin their careers with a prestigious public sector company. HPCL has invited applications for a total of 608 Graduate Apprentice Trainee positions. This one-year apprenticeship program will provide young people with practical industry experience. This experience can prove helpful in securing future employment in PSUs or private companies.

Educational Qualifications and Eligibility
Applicants must possess a BE or B.Tech degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering. Only those who completed their degree on or after April 1, 2023, will be eligible.

General, OBC (NCL), and EWS categories require a minimum of 60% marks, while SC, ST, and PWD candidates require a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years of age as of March 2, 2026. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories as per the rules.

How much will the stipend be, and what is the selection process?
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹25,000, consisting of ₹20,500 from HPCL and ₹4,500 from the Central Government's DBT scheme.

Selection will be based solely on the marks obtained in the degree. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification in a 1:5 ratio.
