Applications open for Delhi Police and CAPF recruitment; learn who can apply and how.
The SSC has opened online applications for 3,073 Delhi Police and CAPF Sub-Inspector posts. Interested candidates can apply on ssc.gov.in until October 16, 2025.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened the online application process for the Delhi Police Sub-Inspector (SI) and Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) posts. A total of 3,073 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. Interested candidates can now apply by visiting the official website, ssc.gov.in. The deadline for applications is October 16, 2025, and the deadline for submitting application fees is October 17, 2025.
Online applications began on September 26, 2025. Candidates will have the opportunity to make corrections to their forms from October 24 to 26. The computer-based exam will be conducted in November or December 2025.
To apply for the SSC CPO recruitment, a candidate must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline. To apply for the Delhi Police Sub-Inspector position, a candidate must have a bachelor's degree and a valid driving license. Candidates must be at least 20 years old and at most 25 years old as of August 1, 2025. Candidates from reserved categories will receive relaxation as per government regulations.
Recruitment Position Details
This recruitment process includes 142 male and 70 female SI positions for the Delhi Police. There are 2,651 male and 210 female positions for CAPF Sub-Inspector (GD).
Application Fee
General, OBC, and EWS category candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹100. Application is free for SC and ST candidates.
Exam and Selection Process
The SSC CPO recruitment exam will be computer-based. Candidates will be assessed on general knowledge, mathematics, reasoning, current affairs, and English language skills. After passing the exam, there will be a physical efficiency test and a medical examination. Candidates who succeed in these stages will be appointed based on merit.
