There is great news for the candidates willing to work in Railways. Railway Recruitment Cell, Western Railway has invited applications for apprentice posts. The application process for these posts will start from today. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of RRC WR rrc-wr.com. Under this recruitment campaign, a total of 5066 posts will be filled in the organization.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates willing to apply for these posts should have passed Matriculation or Class 10 in the 10+2 examination system with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board.
Candidates applying should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years by 22/10/2024.
Applicants whose SSC/ITI results are awaited till the date of notification are not eligible to apply. ITI certificate affiliated to NCVT/SCVT is mandatory.
Application Fee
Candidates applying for these posts will have to pay the application fee. SC/ST/PWD/Female applicants are not required to pay the fee. At the same time, the application fee for the rest of the candidates is Rs 100, which will not be refunded. Selection Process
The candidates will be selected based on merit list which will be prepared by taking the average of percentage of marks obtained by the applicants in both Matriculation and ITI examination, giving equal weightage to both. The final selection of applicants will be subject to verification of original testimonials and medical fitness certificates.
