UPSC NDA II 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started the application process for NDA II (NDA II 2025). UPSC has invited applications from 17-year-old youth for recruitment to 406 posts under NDA II. Interested and eligible candidates can apply after checking their eligibility by visiting the new portal of UPSC https://upsconline.nic.in. National Defence Academy
Army: 208 (including 10 for female candidates)
Navy: 42 (including 5 for female candidates)
Air Force-
Flying: 92 (including 2 for female candidates)
Ground Duty (Technical): 18 (including 2 for female candidates)
Ground Duty (Non-Technical): 10 (including 2 for female candidates)
Naval Academic (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme): 36 (including 4 for female candidates)
Eligibility Criteria for NDA
Army Wing: Passed 12th class in 10+2 pattern from a recognized board or university.
Air Force and Naval Wing and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme: Passed 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Candidates who have appeared in the 12th class examination are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit for NDA
Only unmarried male and female candidates born between 1 January 2007 and 1 January 2010 can apply.
Application Fee for NDA
Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 100 for the NDA exam. However, SC/ST candidates, female candidates, and wards of JCO/NCO/OR will not have to pay any fee.
NDA Selection Process
The NDA selection process has two stages. One is the written exam and the other is the SSB interview. The written exam consists of questions from Mathematics and General Ability. The Math paper is of 300 marks, for which candidates get two and a half hours. The General Ability Test is for 600 marks and 2½ hours are given for it. Candidates who qualify the written exam get a chance to appear in the interview. The SSB test/interview is for a total of 900 marks.
