AIIMS Gorakhpur Recruitment 2026: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Gorakhpur has issued an advertisement for the recruitment of 24 Non-Academic Junior Resident (Medical) posts. Who can apply?
Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.

Additionally:

Completion of a compulsory rotatory internship is mandatory.
A certificate of internship completion must be submitted.
Registration with the Medical Council of India, State Medical Council, or a relevant recognized regulatory body is required before appointment.

What is the age limit for the Junior Resident post?

The maximum age limit for candidates is 37 years. Age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories in accordance with government rules.

What is the salary?
Selected candidates will receive a salary under Pay Matrix Level-10. The minimum salary will be ₹56,100 plus NPA (Non-Practising Allowance). Additionally, other applicable allowances as per the 7th Pay Commission norms will be provided.

How will the selection be made?
Selection for this recruitment will primarily be based on a walk-in interview. However, if the number of applicants is very high, the institute may conduct a written examination. The final list of selected candidates will be published on the AIIMS Gorakhpur website.

Will the job be permanent?
No. This appointment will be on an ad-hoc and temporary basis for a period of six months. The appointment may be terminated without notice.

Candidates cannot claim a regular post at AIIMS Gorakhpur based on this appointment. Private practice will not be permitted during the tenure.

Furthermore, appointed candidates will not be entitled to benefits such as PF, pension, or gratuity. No TA/DA will be payable for attending the interview.

Where will the interview take place?
The interview and document verification will be held at the Medical College Building or Administrative Block, AIIMS Gorakhpur, Kunraghat, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh - 273008. Candidates must arrive at the scheduled time.
