The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released a new notification for the Common Recruitment Examination (AIIMS CRE 4). This exam will fill over 1,300 non-faculty positions in Group B and C categories at AIIMS institutes and several central medical institutions across the country. What are the eligibility criteria?
Candidates can register online until December 2, 2025. This is a great opportunity for those with experience and qualifications in medical, technical, administrative, or support staff. The CBT exam will be held between December 22 and 24.

This joint recruitment process by AIIMS will fill a large number of non-faculty positions in various hospitals. These positions include Dietitian, Warden, Assistant Administrative Officer, Executive Assistant, LDC, UDC, Junior and Senior Administrative positions, Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical), Technical Assistant, Electrician, Wireman, Pharmacist, Storekeeper, Cashier, Accounts Officer, Library Assistant, Medical Records Officer, Coding Clerk, Steno, Private Secretary, Medical Social Welfare, Security and Fire Officer, Embryologist, Fire Technician, Driver, Multi-Purpose Worker, Sanitary Inspector, Junior Hindi Translator, Yoga Instructor, Tailor, Machinist, Photographer, and many other technical and administrative positions.

How to Apply?
Applications can be made on the official AIIMS website, aiimsexams.ac.in. The fee for General and OBC candidates is ₹3,000, while SC, ST, and EWS applicants will have to deposit ₹2,400.

What is the exam pattern?

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be of 90 minutes duration, consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions. The paper will carry 400 marks, with 4 marks awarded for each correct answer, and 1/4 mark deducted for each incorrect answer. Twenty-two questions will be from General Knowledge, General Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge, while 80 questions will be from the candidate's respective domain.

What is the selection process?
The qualifying marks are 40% for General and EWS categories, 35% for OBC, and 30% for SC/ST and PwBD candidates.

This recruitment process will cover all major AIIMS in the country—New Delhi, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh, Kalyani, Nagpur, Bathinda, and Guwahati, along with more than 22 AIIMS, as well as other central institutes, including ICMR, JIPMER, and RIPANS.
