AICTE Industry Fellowship: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has announced internship opportunities for 350 faculty members under the Industry Fellowship Program. Its objective is to bridge the gap between industry and academia. Interested candidates can apply at ifp.aicte.gov.in until October 15, 2025.

Program Highlights
Faculty members selected under this fellowship program will have the opportunity to work in industry for a minimum of one year, for the academic session 2025-26. During this period, they will receive a total stipend of ₹1 lakh per month. In addition, faculty will continue to receive their regular salary from their parent institution. The program will commence on December 1, 2025, and the selection process will run from November 1 to November 15, 2025.

Duration: Minimum one year for the 2025-26 academic year
Stipend: ₹75,000 per month from AICTE + at least ₹25,000 per month from industry
Other benefits: Faculty will continue to receive their regular salary from their institution
Commencement: Program begins December 1, 2025
Selection process: November 1 to November 15, 2025

What areas of experience will be gained?
Selected faculty members will have the opportunity to work in a variety of cutting-edge sectors, including advanced materials, rare-earth and critical minerals, semiconductors, space and defense, blue economy, sustainability and climate change, advanced computing (supercomputing, AI, quantum computing), next-gen communications, smart cities and mobility, agrotech, and food processing.

Eligibility Criteria
Maximum Age: 45 years
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university
Experience: At least 5 years of teaching experience at an AICTE-accredited institution
Doctoral/post-doctoral research period and deputation period will not be counted.

Selection Process
Eligible candidates will be selected for this fellowship program based on three stages:

Industry Interview
Final Document Verification
The final merit list will be based on the combined performance in all three stages.

Graduate/Postgraduate degree and mark sheets
Certificates of current and previous employment experience
No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the parent institution
