Agniveer recruitment rally in Bihar continues until October 6; Indian Army asks candidates to arrive wearing shoes..

Here is an important update for youths in Bihar preparing for Agniveer recruitment. The Army Recruitment Headquarters, Danapur, will organize an Agniveer recruitment rally starting September 22. The rally will continue until October 6. More than 11,000 shortlisted candidates from Bihar and Jharkhand will participate. Given the rainfall and the condition of the grounds, the running test for candidates will be conducted on the road. The Indian Army has advised candidates to wear good, comfortable shoes for the run. Candidates participating in the rally must bring all necessary documents, including their admit cards.

**Rally begins on September 22**
According to Recruitment Director Colonel Bindu Agnihotri, the recruitment rally will be held at the KLP Ground in Chandmari. Only shortlisted candidates who have passed the Common Entrance Exam (CEE) will be eligible to participate. A total of 11,042 candidates will take part in the rally, including 257 female candidates. Approximately 3,500 candidates have been called for the post of Clerk.

**Recruitment schedule by post**
From September 22 to 25, recruitment for the Agniveer General Duty post will be held for shortlisted male candidates from Patna, Buxar, Bhojpur, Siwan, Saran, Gopalganj, and Vaishali. Candidates from these same districts applying for Agniveer Technical and Office Assistant/Storekeeper Technical posts will participate from September 26 to 29.

Recruitment for Agniveer Tradesman (8th and 10th pass) will take place on September 30. The rally for candidates from all districts of Jharkhand will be held on October 1. Recruitment for Agniveer Clerk candidates from various districts of Bihar will take place on October 2 and 3. Recruitment for candidates from the ARO Gaya region will be held on October 4. October 5 will be a reserve day, while recruitment for female Military Police candidates from Bihar and Jharkhand will take place on October 6.

**Candidates must bring documents**
Candidates are required to bring their admit cards along with all necessary original certificates and other essential documents. Since the running test will be conducted on the road, candidates are advised to wear appropriate footwear.

Exit Plan for Agniveers
More than 19,000 Agniveers from the first batch will complete their four-year tenure in January 2027. According to reports, there is a plan to release the merit list for the permanent absorption of 25 percent of these Agniveers into the Army before their tenure concludes. The selection process for this will be conducted based on an internal examination.
