Agniveer Recruitment 2025: The Indian Armed Forces have released new guidelines and eligibility standards for male and female candidates for the Agniveer recruitment scheme 2025. This time, the educational qualifications for all three services – Army, Navy, and Air Force – have been clearly defined to make the recruitment process more transparent and easier. Changes have been made to the eligibility criteria, age limit, and technical requirements for different positions. Notably, a special age relaxation has been granted to widows of martyred soldiers applying for the Army's Military Police. Candidates are advised to carefully read all the rules before applying.

Agniveer Recruitment 2025: Eligibility for Army, Navy, and Air Force
For General Duty in the Army, a 10th pass is the required qualification, with women eligible to join as Military Police. For Technical Agniveer, a 12th pass with Science subjects is mandatory, while 10th pass candidates with a valid technical diploma can also apply. For Clerk/Storekeeper positions, English and Math or Accountancy subjects are required in 10+2. For Tradesman positions, 10th or 8th pass candidates can apply.


Eligibility and Special Relaxations for Navy and Air Force
For Senior Secondary recruitment in the Navy, 10+2 with Math and Physics is mandatory. For Matric pass recruitment and Musician positions, a 10th pass is sufficient.

In the Air Force, Science stream Agniveer candidates must have Math, Physics, and English subjects in 12th grade, while for other streams, 12th pass candidates from any subject are eligible. A 10th pass is the required qualification for the Musician position. In a major relief for female candidates, the age limit for widows of martyred soldiers applying to the Army's Military Police has been relaxed, raising the maximum age to 30 years.
