Educational Qualification

For Flying Branch:

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics securing at least 50% marks in both subjects.

For Ground Duty (Technical):

  • Candidates should have passed 12th with Physics and Mathematics.

Selection Process

The AFCAT recruitment process includes three major stages:

  1. AFCAT Written Examination:
    • Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
    • Duration: 2 Hours
    • Total Questions: 100
    • Total Marks: 300
    • Sections include General Awareness, Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning & Military Aptitude.
  2. AFSB Interview:
    • Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) Interview.
    • This multi-day process involves a Psychological Test, Group Discussion (GD), and a Personal Interview (PI).
  3. Medical Examination:
