IAF AFCAT 1 2025: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released recruitment for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 1. As per the announcement, the AFCAT 2025 application process will start on December 2. Interested and eligible candidates for these posts can fill out the application form by visiting the official website (feat.cdac.in). The application process will remain open till December 31, 2024.

As per the schedule, the last date to apply online for the AFCAT 1 Exam 2025 is December 31, 2024. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 336 posts including male and female in departments like Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches, and NCC Special Entry and Meteorology Entry Schemes.

Flying Branch: 30 Vacancies

Ground Duty (Technical): 189 Vacancies

Ground Duty (Non-Technical): 117 Vacancies

How will be selected?

The selection process of the candidates for AFCAT 1 2025 will include a written test, AFSB Test and Medical Examination. AFCAT is conducted to select candidates for admission to the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches/NCC Special Entry/Meteorology Entry Courses.

Eligibility Criteria for Flying Branch

For Flying Branch, candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a three-year graduation degree or BE/BTech degree with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university.

Eligibility Criteria for Ground Duty (Technical) Branch

For Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics) (AE (L)) candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a Bachelor/Post Graduate degree in Engineering and Technology from a recognized university.

AFCAT Age Limit

Flying Branch: The applicant must be at least 20 years of age and the maximum age for Flying Branch is 24 years. The maximum age limit is relaxed up to 26 years for candidates holding a valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India).

Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) Branches: The minimum age for Ground Duty is 20 years and the upper age limit is 26 years.
