ABV-IIITM AE-JE Vacancy: The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (ABV-IIITM), Gwalior, has released a recruitment notification for two positions. These include one post each for Assistant Engineer (Electrical) and Junior Engineer (Civil). Only candidates possessing an engineering degree (BE/B.Tech or Diploma) along with the requisite experience are eligible to apply for these positions. Who Can Apply?
Assistant Engineer (Electrical): For this position, candidates must hold a Diploma in Electrical Engineering along with 8 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a BE/B.A tech degree in Electrical Engineering accompanied by 6 years of experience, is also considered valid. This experience must have been acquired at government institutions, IITs, NITs, or PSUs. Experience gained during the course of academic studies will not be counted.
Junior Engineer (Civil): For this position, a Diploma in Civil Engineering along with 5 years of relevant experience is mandatory. Alternatively, a BE/B.A tech degree in Civil Engineering, accompanied by 2 years of experience, is required. This experience, too, must have been gained at a government or recognized institutions. Experience acquired during academic studies will not be considered valid.
Category-wise Application Fee
The application fee has been determined based on different categories. A fee of ₹1,000 has been prescribed for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories, while candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PWD categories are required to pay a fee of ₹500.
Address for Sending Applications
The filled-in application form, along with all necessary supporting documents, must be sent in a sealed envelope. It is mandatory to clearly mention the name of the applied post on the envelope. Applications must be sent exclusively via Speed Post or Registered Post. The deadline for submitting applications is June 1, 2026, by 5:00 PM.
