UPSSSC JE 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has commenced the online application process today, November 3, 2026, for the recruitment of 1,156 Junior Engineer (Mechanical) posts. Candidates who have qualified for the UP PET 2025 and possess the relevant diploma can submit their online applications via the Commission's official website, upsssc.gov.in, until November 25, 2026.
Who is eligible to apply?
Candidates must have appeared for and qualified in the UP Preliminary Eligibility Test (UP PET 2025). Please keep your PET 2025 registration number handy to log in and fill out the application form.
The basic qualification for this recruitment is a diploma in Mechanical Engineering (for instance, for the post of Technical Assistant - Mechanical). Age Limit (as of July 1, 2026): For the posts of JE (Mechanical), Mechanic, Assistant Storekeeper, and Instructor (Machinist), the age limit is 18 to 40 years. For the posts of Technical Assistant (Mechanical) and ADPRO (Technical), the age limit is 21 to 40 years.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted relaxation in the upper age limit as per UPSSSC rules.
