NPCIL has invited applications for the recruitment of a total of 330 'Executive Trainee' positions for the year 2026, based on scores obtained in the GATE examinations held in 2024, 2025, and 2026.

Under this recruitment drive, students specializing in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, and Civil Engineering are eligible to apply. The details regarding the vacancies are as follows:

**Eligibility and Selection Process**
Applicants must possess a B.E./B.Tech degree or a 5-year Integrated M.Tech degree in the relevant discipline, secured with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks. Additionally, holding a valid score from any one of the GATE examinations—2024, 2025, or 2026—is mandatory.
**How Will the Selection Process Be Conducted?**
**Shortlisting**
Based on their GATE scores, candidates will be shortlisted and called for an interview in a ratio of 1:12.
**Interview**
Final selection will depend entirely on the candidate's performance during the personal interview. These interviews are likely to be conducted in June 2026 at designated centers such as Mumbai, Narora, Kaiga, and Kalpakkam.
**Salary and Other Benefits**
During the training period, trainees will receive a monthly stipend of ₹74,000, along with a one-time book allowance of ₹30,000. Upon successful completion of the training, they will be appointed as 'Scientific Officer/C,' with an initial basic pay of ₹56,100. In addition to this, they will also receive DA (Dearness Allowance), housing, medical facilities, and other government allowances.
