137 CETF Battalion Vacancy: The recruitment process is going to start in the 137 CETF Battalion for ex-servicemen and women employees. This recruitment process will be conducted from 23 September 2025 to 27 September 2025 at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, New Cantt, Prayagraj (UP).

Eligible candidates have to reach the designated place on 23 September 2025 at 07:00 am with the original copy of all the documents. Physical ability test and medical test of the candidates will be done.

What should be the age?

To participate in the recruitment, the maximum age of Junior Officers (JCDs) should be 55 years, and the maximum age of other posts (OR) should be 50 years. Also, it is mandatory for the candidates to complete the minimum period in service.

Eligibility requirements for the application

Candidates should have a medical category of SHAPE-1, and their character should be EXEMPLARY/VERY GOOD. Eligibility includes Indian civilian ex-servicemen (who are getting pension from the Indian Army) and ex-women employees of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, and the State Forest Department. Female candidates should have a minimum of 20 years of experience, including voluntary retirement.

Physical Standards

Height: Men 160 cm (152 cm for Gorkha/Garhwali), 150 cm for female employees. 5 cm relaxation for Gorkha, Assamese, and Garhwali women of North-East India and hilly areas.

Weight: Men 50 kg, Women 42 kg.

Chest: Men 82 cm (minimum expansion of 5 cm), women also minimum expansion of 5 cm.

Physical test and proficiency test will be done.

Physical test is mandatory for male candidates in recruitment, which includes: 1 mile run, pull-ups, 8/9 feet ditch, and zigzag balance. Further, the proficiency test will be conducted in the form of a trade test for tradesmen candidates and in plantation and nursery management for ex-women candidates.

How will the selection be done?

Candidates have to bring the following documents for the physical test and proficiency test: Discharge Book, Pension Payment Order (PPO), eight passport-size colour photographs, a character certificate from the police/village head, education certificate, and state domicile certificate. Candidates who pass the physical test will undergo a medical test, followed by interview of the successful candidates.
