A case of misinformation regarding Operation Sindoor has come to light in Pakistani school books. Pakistan has included false information in its school curriculum instead of factual information regarding Operation Sindoor, which was launched by the Indian Army against Pakistan on May 7, 2025. Images of these books are going viral on social media, claiming that Pakistan defeated India in just four days.
According to reports, the books also state that India falsely blamed Pakistan for the Pahalgam attack, and in response, Pakistan brought India to its knees. However, the reality is quite different. According to the Indian Army and independent reports, Operation Sindoor was a controlled and strategic operation in which India targeted terrorists and their hideouts, not civilian areas.

The book presents a different story from the Pakistan-India War of 2025 title. It claims that the Pakistani Army retaliated only against Indian military targets. The truth is that the Pakistani Army launched drone and missile attacks on Amritsar, Jammu, Srinagar, and several other locations, including civilian areas.
In response, the Indian Army took precise and controlled action. During Operation Sindoor, Pakistan's HQ-9 air defense system in Lahore was targeted, as well as military bases in Sialkot and Islamabad. These actions were aimed at weakening Pakistan's terrorist network, not harming civilians.
Donald Trump's Role
The book also claims that India suffered heavy losses and that Pakistan ultimately made peace under pressure from then-US President Donald Trump. While the reality is that India carried out targeted strikes during the operation and that no civilians were harmed, the Indian Army held a press conference on May 12th to declassify satellite images and videos.
The Indian Army's actions during Operation Sindoor were purely strategic. Its objective was to destroy terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK and ensure the security of India's borders. Furthermore, after the operation, the Indian Army exposed the truth of the operation to the world through journalists and the media.
