The ‘PadhAI with AI’ portal is the brainchild of IAS officer Saumya Jha (Rajasthan cadre). She implemented the portal in government schools during her tenure as the District Magistrate of Dausa and Tonk, specifically targeting Class 10 students across 351 schools. Within just six weeks of using this portal, a remarkable improvement in academic results was recorded in these government schools.

‘PadhAI with AI’ is a portal dedicated to mathematics, though it also assists with learning other subjects. It is particularly useful in areas where there is a shortage of mathematics teachers. Regarding its functionality, the portal adapts its teaching method by gauging the students' understanding; for instance, if a concept remains unclear, it explains the topic using various new examples. Students can take practice tests repeatedly on the portal, and the photos of those who perform well are displayed on the portal's homepage on a weekly basis. 

Portal Operational in Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh
The ‘PadhAI with AI’ portal was initially implemented in select districts of Rajasthan; given its performance, the Himachal Pradesh government also adopted it in recent months. Preparations are now underway to implement it at the national level.

NITI Aayog’s Preparations for National-Level Implementation
Preparations are in progress to roll out the ‘PadhAI with AI’ portal nationwide. Reports indicate that NITI Aayog has decided to adopt it at the national level, with initial implementation taking place in 50 selected blocks across the country. It has also been integrated into NITI Aayog’s new technology system, which was inaugurated recently.
