Gujarat School Education Board (GSEB) has announced that Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2025 will be held on March 23, 2025. The exam will be conducted at district-level centers from 10 am to 4 pm. Detailed details related to the application process for GUJCET 2025 will be released soon on the official website gseb.org. Exam Pattern
GUJCET Exam 2025 will consist of multiple-choice questions on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. The number of questions and allotted marks subject-wise are given below.
Physics - 40 questions
Chemistry - 40 questions
Biology - 40 questions
Mathematics - 40 questions
120 minutes is allotted for Physics, Chemistry, 50 minutes for Biology and 50 minutes for Mathematics. One mark is given for the correct answer to all these questions.
As per the paper pattern of GUJCET 2025, the question paper of Physics and Chemistry will be combined and 40-40 questions will be asked from Physics and Chemistry. The total number of questions will be 80 and each question will carry one mark. Candidates will be given 120 minutes to solve the question paper.
Biology and Mathematics papers will be separate. Each question paper will have 40 questions carrying 40 marks. Students will be given 50 minutes to complete the exam. GUJCET 2025 will be conducted in three mediums namely Gujarati, English and Hindi.
1.38 lakh candidates appeared for the entrance exam in the last session. The overall pass percentage of general stream students was 91.93% while the pass percentage of science stream students was 82.45%. Also, 510 students scored above 99 percentile in GUJCET Group A exam and 990 students scored top marks in Group B.
