WBCHSE 12th Result 2025: West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced the class 12th exam result 2025. The result was released through a press conference today at 12:30 pm. Candidates will be able to check their results online on the official website wbchse.wb.gov.in or wbresults.nic.in from 2 pm.
The results of Science, Commerce, and Arts streams have been declared simultaneously. More than 5 lakh students appeared in the Class 12th examination this time. The examination was conducted at more than 2000 centers set up across the state.
Boys ahead in 12th result
This year, the overall pass percentage of West Bengal Board Class 12th (HS) Examination 2025 has been 90.79%. In these, the pass percentage of boys was 92.38%, while the pass percentage of girls was recorded at 88.18%.
Stream-wise performance of West Bengal Board
The stream-wise performance in the West Bengal Board 12th Result 2025 has been excellent this time too. The pass percentage of the Science stream was recorded at 99.20%, while 97.52% of students passed in the Commerce stream. At the same time, the pass percentage of the Arts stream was 88.25%.
This year, Medinipur has won the district-wise performance, where this district topped the entire state with a 95.4% pass percentage.
WBCHSE 12th Topper List 2025: These are the top 3 students
The West Bengal Board (WBCHSE) has also released the list of toppers along with the 12th class result. Rupal Pal topped this year in 2025. After him, Tushar Debnath has been ranked second, and Rajshree Adhikari has been ranked third.

The marksheet will be available on 8th May
The hard copy of the marksheet and passing certificate of the students will be given to the respective schools through 55 distribution centers in West Bengal from 10 am on 8 May 2025. The board has requested the principals and teachers-in-charge of all the schools to ensure the distribution of marksheets and certificates among the students on May 8 itself.
How was the result last year?
In 2024, about 7.5 lakh students appeared in the examination, out of which 6.7 lakh students were successful. Abhik Das topped with 99.2% marks.
