WB HS Semester 3 Result 2026: West Bengal 12th Semester 3 Results Released, 93.72% Students Passed; Success Rate Increases This Year

The WBCHSE released the results for the third semester of 12th grade, with 93.72% students passing. This year, the pass percentage is higher than last year, and the Semester 4 exam will be held in February 2026.

Today was a very special day for intermediate students in West Bengal. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) released the results for the third semester of Class 12th (HS) on October 31, 2025. This year, students' hard work paid off, and the success rate increased to 93.72% compared to last year's 90.79%. The results were announced at a press conference by the council, after which students can check their results at result.wb.gov.in starting at 2 p.m. using their roll number and login details.

The third semester examination for Class 12, conducted by the WBCHSE, was held between September 8 and September 22, 2025. 660,260 students registered for this examination, of which 645,832 appeared. The Board has also announced the dates for the next stage, the Semester 4 examination, in 2026. This examination will be held from February 12 to 27, 2026.

Along with the results, the Board has also clarified that to pass, students must obtain at least 30% marks in each subject, or 30 out of 100. The results contain information such as students' names, roll numbers, subject-wise marks, grades, overall percentage, and qualifying status.

Special Instructions for Schools

WBCHSE has instructed all schools to download the Statement of Marks and Synopsis of Marks through their login portal. Students will be able to obtain their original marksheets and certificates from their schools.

To check the results, candidates should first visit the official website result.wb.gov.in.

Afterward, click on the "West Bengal Higher Secondary Examination Results 2026" link.

Candidates should then enter their roll number and login details.

Follow this link and enter the provided captcha code and click Submit.

The result will then appear on your screen.

Save a printout of the result for future reference.
