IIT Delhi AI Course: In response to the growing demand for AI in the healthcare sector, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is launching an 'AI in Healthcare Executive Programme.' Registration for the course is now open. Launched under IIT Delhi’s Continuing Education Programme (CEP), this course aims to equip healthcare professionals, technology leaders, and innovators with the skills to understand AI-based solutions and implement them effectively in healthcare services. **Course Starts on December 12**
According to IIT Delhi, the programme will commence on December 12, 2026, and conclude on May 30, 2027. Interested candidates can apply until December 10, 2026. Graduate professionals working in industry or academia whose scope of work involves AI in healthcare are eligible to apply for this course.
**What Will Be Taught**
During the course, candidates will be introduced to topics such as the fundamentals of AI and Machine Learning (ML), healthcare data, clinical AI applications, Generative AI, Agentic AI workflows, and responsible AI adoption. Training will be conducted through live, expert-led sessions, providing participants with practical experience.
According to the institute, the programme focuses not only on developing AI models but also on how to implement AI solutions—developed through research—into actual healthcare services in a safe, ethical, and effective manner.
**Course Duration**
This is a six-month programme with classes held on weekends. Sessions will take place on Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Sundays from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. This will enable working professionals to participate in the program alongside their regular jobs.
