The deadline to submit application forms for the VIT engineering entrance exam is March 31, 2027. The entrance examination is tentatively scheduled to be held between April 27 and April 30, 2027. Eligibility for the VIT Entrance Examination
Candidates must have passed their Class 12 (or equivalent) qualifying examination in 2025 or 2026, or be appearing for the qualifying examination in 2027. They are required to have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology.

For candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories, as well as those from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and the North-Eastern states, the minimum aggregate marks requirement is 50%.

Candidates applying with Biology instead of Mathematics may be eligible for specific BTech programs. VITEEE 2027: Exam Pattern
VITEEE 2027 will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The exam will be in English and will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions. The duration of the exam will be two hours.

Mathematics or Biology: 40 questions
Physics: 25 questions
Chemistry: 25 questions
Aptitude: 5 questions
English: 5 questions

VITEEE 2027: Marking Scheme
Candidates will be awarded four marks for every correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks will be awarded for unanswered questions.
