Uttarakhand Students to Get Free Online Coaching; Government Launches New Scheme
Under the 'Mukhyamantri Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana 2026' (Chief Minister's Youth Future Building Scheme 2026), students studying in universities and government colleges in Uttarakhand will be provided free online coaching to prepare for various competitive examinations.
Uttarakhand Free Online Coaching: The state government is set to launch a new scheme for students pursuing higher education in Uttarakhand. Under the 'Mukhyamantri Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana 2026', students enrolled in universities, government colleges, and government-aided colleges will receive free online coaching for various competitive exams. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved the scheme, and its formal launch is expected soon.
The government states that this scheme will particularly benefit students living in the state's remote and hilly areas. Students who lack access to local coaching facilities or cannot afford expensive private coaching will now be able to prepare from the comfort of their homes via online platforms.
Which exams can students prepare for?
Under the 'Mukhyamantri Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana 2026', students will be provided with online coaching and study support for a wide range of competitive examinations. These include Civil Services exams conducted by the UPSC and State Public Service Commissions, as well as exams for CDS, banking, railways, and the SSC. Additionally, the scheme covers various entrance and eligibility tests, such as TAT, MAT, GATE, NET, and CSIR-NET. Thus, students will be able to prepare for government job competitive exams alongside higher education entrance tests and other qualifying examinations.
Benefits for university and government college students
This scheme will cater to students studying in universities as well as government and government-aided colleges across Uttarakhand. Coaching and study support will be provided online, eliminating the need for students to visit separate coaching institutes for their preparation.
Focus on students in hilly and remote areas.
Students residing in the hilly and remote regions of Uttarakhand often struggle to access coaching centers for competitive examinations. Furthermore, the fees for private coaching are often prohibitively high. In view of this issue, the government has made provisions for free online coaching under this scheme. This will enable students to receive assistance with their studies and exam preparation from the comfort of their homes. Preparations for the formal launch are currently underway following approval from CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, although the launch date has not yet been announced. Once the scheme is launched, the government will commence online coaching for students.
