The dates for the Uttarakhand Board Examinations 2026 have been announced. The Class 12 board exams will begin on February 21, while the Class 10 exams will start on February 23. Both exams will conclude on March 20. The Intermediate (Class 12) exams will begin with Drawing and Painting, and the Class 10 exams will start with Hindustani Music. The Uttarakhand Class 10 board exams 2026 will be conducted in a single shift, starting at 10:00 AM and ending at 1:00 PM.
Dr. Mukul Kumar Sati, Director of Secondary Education, Uttarakhand, stated that all necessary arrangements are being made for the smooth conduct of the examinations. Security and fairness will be ensured at various examination centers across the state. He advised the students to remain calm during the exams and focus on their preparation.

156 Examination Centers Declared Sensitive
The board has made strict arrangements to ensure that the examinations are free from cheating. These examinations will be held at 1261 centers across the state, of which 156 have been identified as sensitive and 6 as highly sensitive. This year, approximately two lakh sixteen thousand candidates will appear in these examinations.
More than 750 Examiners for Practical Exams
According to the report, the council is going to appoint about 750 practical examiners for the practical examinations. They will conduct practical examinations in different schools.
Last year, too, the examination started on February 21
In 2025, the Uttarakhand Board examination started on February 21. The 2025 board examination concluded on March 11, 2025. A total of approximately 2,23,403 students participated in the 2025 examination. Of these, 109966 students appeared in the High School examination. The results were declared on April 19, 2025.
