The UTET exam is conducted at two levels. Paper-1 is for candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 5. Paper-2 is for candidates aspiring to teach classes 6 to 8. If a candidate wishes to qualify to teach classes across the entire range of 1 to 8, they must pass both papers.
What will the exam pattern be like? All questions in UTET 2026 will be of the MCQ type. The exam will feature questions on subjects such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Language, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Science, and Social Science.
