UPTET Admit Card Released: The admit cards for UPTET 2026 have been issued. Candidates registered for the exam can download their admit cards by visiting the official website and entering details such as their application number or mobile number, name, father's name, and date of birth. The commission will conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test across the state from July 2 to July 4, 2026. Before this, the commission had already released information regarding the exam cities on June 22.

Check Exam Pattern
The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 will be conducted by the commission on July 2 and July 3, 2026, in two shifts each day. The first shift exam will take place from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second shift exam will be held from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Additionally, the exam will be conducted only in the first shift (9:30 AM to 12:00 PM) on July 4, 2026. The examination will be held at a total of 955 centers established across 60 districts of the state.

Exam Pattern
The UPTET 2026 examination will be conducted in offline mode using OMR sheets. A total of 150 multiple-choice questions will be asked, covering subjects such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-1, Language-2, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Each question carries one mark, and the exam duration is set at 150 minutes (two and a half hours). A point of relief for candidates is that there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Qualifying Marks
To qualify for the exam, candidates belonging to the General category must secure at least 60 percent marks (i.e., 90 marks). Meanwhile, the minimum requirement for candidates from reserved categories is 55 percent (i.e., 82 marks). The UPTET certificate awarded to successful candidates will remain valid for a lifetime, allowing them to use it for future teacher recruitment examinations.
