UPTET Admit Card 2026: There is major news for the lakhs of candidates awaiting the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026. The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) released the UPTET 2026 admit card on June 30, 2026. Candidates who applied for the exam can now visit the Commission's official website to download their hall tickets. The exam will be conducted in various shifts from July 2 to July 4, 2026. How to download the admit card

When will the UPTET 2026 exam be held?

The UPTET 2026 exam will be conducted from July 2 to July 4. Paper-2, intended for classes 6 to 8, will be held on July 2 in two shifts. The first shift will run from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second shift will take place from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Another exam for this paper will be held on July 3 during the morning shift. Meanwhile, Paper-1 (for classes 1 to 5) will be conducted in the afternoon shift on July 3 and the morning shift on July 4.
When must candidates reach the exam center?

The commission has clarified that all candidates must arrive at the exam center at least one hour before their exam begins. Candidates arriving late may be denied entry.

Offline Exam
This time, the UPTET 2026 exam will be conducted in offline mode using OMR sheets. Each paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The total marks for all questions combined will be 150, and the exam duration will be 150 minutes. A point of relief for candidates is that there will be no negative marking in this exam.
