Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has announced the schedule of major examinations of 2026. In this, the dates of Lecturer, Trained Graduate (TGT), and UP TET examination have been fixed. According to the order, all the schools and colleges of the state will remain closed on the day of these examinations.
On the day the UPTET or TGT examination is held, no other examination will be conducted by the commission. This decision has been taken to save the candidates from any kind of trouble. THE UP TET exam was last held in January 2022. Now, after 4 years, the commission has fixed its official dates. Meanwhile, the dates of Lecturer and TGT examinations have also been announced for the candidates associated with teacher recruitment.

ACS Deepak Kumar of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Department announced the examination schedule. He said that no change in the exam dates is proposed at present. Lecturer's written exam will be held on 15-16 October, TGT exam on 18-19 December, and UP TET on 29-30 January 2026. All schools and colleges will remain closed on the day of the examination. This will facilitate the candidates ' reaching the examination center and taking the exam.
