UPTET 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the provisional answer key for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET)-2026. The UPTET examination was conducted in two shifts on July 2 and 3, and in a single shift on July 4. Candidates can download the provisional answer key by visiting the Commission's website at https://upessc.up.gov.in. Candidates can access the answer key by logging in with their registration number and date of birth via the online link provided on the Commission's website.

If any candidate has an objection regarding the provisional answer key of the master set, they may submit it by July 14. Guidelines for submitting objections have been uploaded to the Commission's website. The Commission will not consider objections received through any medium other than the designated online link.

UPTET held after four years
It is noteworthy that the UPTET examination was conducted in Uttar Pradesh after a gap of four years. This marks the first time the UP Education Service Selection Commission has conducted the TET examination. It was conducted in five shifts between July 2 and July 4. The TET 2026 examination was conducted peacefully, transparently, and securely across 955 centers established in 60 districts of the state.

Surveillance via AI-based cameras

More than 19 lakh applications were received for this examination. Technology and AI-equipped cameras were extensively utilized during the exam. AI cameras helped detect impersonators. Over the course of three days, a total of 44 impersonators were caught taking the UPTET exam on behalf of other candidates.
