UPTET 2026 Online Form Last Date: The ongoing online application process for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is drawing to a close. Candidates who have not yet registered are advised not to delay filling out the form any longer. Online registration for UPTET 2026 commenced on March 27. Interested and eligible candidates may fill out and submit their online application forms up until the final deadline of April 26, 2026. Eligibility Criteria for Filling the UPTET 2026 Form
Primary Level (Classes 1–5): Must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates must have passed a two-year D.El.Ed (BTC) program from an institute recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Candidates currently in their final year of the program are also eligible to apply. Alternatively, candidates must have completed a two-year D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) or D.El.Ed. (Special Education) After graduation, OR must have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks along with a four-year B.El.Ed. (Bachelor of Elementary Education) program—or currently be in the final year of such a program.
Junior Level (Classes 6 to 8): Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Additionally, they must have passed the B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education) examination; candidates currently in their final year are also eligible to apply. Candidates who have completed a four-year B.El.Ed. Those who have completed their Class 12 education are also eligible to apply. Alternatively, candidates may apply if they have passed the B.Sc.Ed. examination with a minimum of 50% marks following their 10+2 (Intermediate) education. Candidates who have completed a Bachelor's degree in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks, and have subsequently completed a B.Ed. degree—are also eligible to apply. How to Apply for UP TET 2026?
Candidates wishing to apply for the UP TET may follow the steps outlined below:
To fill out the application form, you must first visit the official UPESSC portal.
Once on the homepage, you will first need to create your OTR (One Time Registration) ID. To do this, ensure you have the necessary documents—such as your Aadhaar Card, Class 10 marksheet, photograph, etc.—ready at hand.
Now, enter your details—including your name, parents' names, date of birth, Aadhaar Card number, and email ID—and verify the information. Next, you will be required to upload a "live photograph" (a real-time image) in which your face is clearly visible.
Following this, create a password. Set a security question and enter the Captcha code.
Now, fill in your remaining personal details, such as your nationality, marital status, and category information. If you belong to the SC, ST, or OBC categories, you will also be required to provide details regarding your respective certificates. Please ensure that after entering each section of information, you click the "Save & Next" button; your details will only be saved if you complete this step.
Finally, scan and upload your passport-sized photograph and your signature. Once the OTR process is complete, log in and submit the remaining details in the form.
Select your subject group. Subsequently, upload your Class 10, Class 12, Graduation, and B.Ed. mark sheets.
Now, after reviewing the complete preview of the form, submit it and pay the application fee.
