UPTAC 2025 Counselling Registration Date: Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has extended the last date for registration for UPTAC Counseling 2025 to July 15. Candidates interested in admission in B.Tech can apply by visiting uptac.admissions.nic.in.
For UPTAC 2025 counseling, candidates will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,000 to participate in both the main and special rounds. In the entire process, candidates will have to fill out options for their preferred colleges and courses. This will be followed by seat allocation, in which candidates will have to undergo document verification and finally confirm admission in the allotted institute.
In how many stages will the counseling process be conducted?
This year, UPTAC 2025 counseling for admission in B.Tech will be conducted in a total of seven stages. Each stage will include important processes like registration, choice filling, seat allocation, document verification, and reporting to the institute.
Talking about the second phase, the choice filling process will be held on July 18 and 19, while seat allocation will be done on July 21. Candidates will be able to choose the freeze or float option from July 21 to 23. The facility of depositing the seat confirmation fee and seat withdrawal will also be available during this period.
Seat allocation and fee details
The last date for choice filling for the first round of UPTAC 2025 counseling has been fixed as July 12. Seat allocation based on JEE score under Round 1 will be done on July 14, 2025. Candidates have to ensure that they fill in the options on time and submit the documents correctly.
Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to pay a fee to confirm their seats. Candidates of the General, EWS, and OBC categories will have to pay a fee of Rs 20,000, while for SC and ST category candidates this amount has been fixed at Rs 12,000. This fee has to be deposited through online mode.
