UPSSSC Result 2026: Assistant Accountant-Auditor Result Declared; 1,643 Candidates Selected for 1,828 Posts

The UPSSSC Result 2026 has been released. A total of 1,643 candidates have been finally selected for the 1,828 posts of Assistant Accountant and Auditor. View the result, cut-off marks, and selection list.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, another significant step has been taken to provide employment opportunities to the youth of Uttar Pradesh through a transparent and fair recruitment process. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has declared the final result of the Assistant Accountant and Auditor Main Examination, conducted under Advertisement No. 03-Exam/2024. A total of 1,643 candidates have been finally selected against the 1,828 advertised posts. The Commission has uploaded the list of roll numbers of the selected candidates and the category-wise cut-off lists to its website.

570 Candidates Selected for 668 General Selection Posts

Against the 668 'General Selection' posts of Assistant Accountant under the Directorate of Internal Audit and Audit, Uttar Pradesh, 570 candidates have been selected. These include 387 candidates from the Unreserved category, 117 from the Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 66 from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). As candidates from the respective categories were not available for the 88 Scheduled Caste (SC) and 10 Scheduled Tribe (ST) posts, these vacancies have been carried forward in accordance with the rules.

866 Candidates Successful in 950 Special Selection Posts

Against the 950 'Special Selection' posts of Assistant Accountant, 866 candidates have been finally selected. These include 341 candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), 12 from the Scheduled Tribe (ST), and 513 from the Other Backward Classes (OBC). All 190 female candidates have been selected against the 190 posts advertised under the horizontal reservation for women. 206 Candidates Selected for 209 Auditor Posts

The Commission has selected 206 candidates against 209 general selection posts for Auditors. This includes 96 candidates from the unreserved category, 28 from Scheduled Castes (SC), 4 from Scheduled Tribes (ST), 58 from Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 20 from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS).
All 41 female candidates have been selected against the 41 posts reserved under the horizontal reservation for women.

Selection for Legal Services Authority Post

A candidate has also been selected for the post of Assistant Accountant under the Uttar Pradesh State Legal Services Authority. This post belonged to the unreserved category.

Provisional Selection of 68 Candidates

The Commission has included 68 candidates in the final selection result on a provisional basis. Their final selection will depend on the decision of the Commission and the concerned requisitioning department following the verification of the certificates and other necessary documents to be submitted.
The Commission has also clarified that the final selection result will be subject to the orders passed in writ petitions/special appeals currently pending before the concerned High Court, as well as in any related cases filed in the future.

Government's Emphasis on Transparent Recruitment Process

The Yogi government is consistently emphasizing making government recruitment in the state transparent, fair, and time-bound. Along with advancing the recruitment process for vacant posts across various departments, results are being released through selection commissions. The selection for these posts of Assistant Accountant and Auditor will provide a large number of youths with the opportunity to enter government service.
